Namaste! I would firstly like to thank you all for your patience while I was doing some volunteering and exploring around India, then recovering from sickness. My voluntary experience in Delhi didn't quite go to plan but life sometimes throws you experiences to grow and stretch you. After ending my voluntary stay a few weeks early, my partner, Brian came over and we toured and enjoyed the sights of Varanasi, Lucknow, Agra, Jaipur and Singapore before arriving back in our lovely NZ. 
We had to pay 300 Rupees to touch this roadside camel in Jaipur so I captured the moment on film.
I am feeling more like myself now and it is so good to be back and enjoying our wonderful class this year.
We've all been working hard to reestablish our classroom culture by incorporating our SNS puzzle pieces and taking care of our bodies and mind. Throughout the year we will be looking at how calming our bodies and mind can help us in the classroom. This term we're exploring how yoga and mindfulness can help us with our learning and relationships with others.
We've being using Cosmic Kids to help guide our practice.

A few things to note for the term:
- Library day is Friday
- Milk in Schools on Wednesday and Friday
- Brain Break (a healthy morning snack) on Tuesday and Thursday
- On Wednesdays we will be learning some gymnastic skills, please make sure the children are dressed in appropriate clothing for rolling, jumping and stretching.
